We recently tested a pair of Teva Itundas on a French River canoe trip. The low water level of the river meant a lot of lining through rapids, footing it over slippery Canadian Shield.
We’re happy to report that this unstoppable amphibious sport sandal made easy work of it. They sure beat the pair of old spongy tennis shoes I used to wear as “water shoes.” Speaking of water, Teva recently donated $100,000 to to the company’s long-term partner Waterkeeper Alliance toward cleaning up the Gulf of Mexico oil spill – now considered North America’s worst environmental disaster. As Teva brand president Pete Worley said, “Teva has been in business for over 25 years because of waterways – we wouldn’t exist without them.”
