The Band

I’m gonna go ahead and make the bold claim that Canada’s (4 out of 5 members were Canucks… close enough right?) The Band was one of the original alt-country bands. And man did they kick ass. On Saturday night local musicians Aaron Garner, Rick Garner, Jason Redman, Drew McIvor, and John Hall are putting on a show at the Gayety Theatre called King Harvest: A Tribute and Musical Celebration of The Band. Should be a great night. Come on out and support our local musicians and celebrate some of the greatest songs ever penned by Canadians. Here’s some rehearsal footage.
