Now in its third year, the Peak to Shore music festival, put on by the Blue Mountain Village and Thornbury is seriously kicking ass. The music is free all weekend and the talent is top notch for sure. Our own Romney Getty kicks it all off in Thornbury on Friday night at the Orchid, and then Saturday night in the Village, some guy named Jim Cuddy is playing? Apparently he’s also in a little band called Blue Rodeo. And I have yet to see them live, but I bet Shred Kelly is also a great band to see… if only because I spent a summer with vocalist Sage McBride up in the wilds of Northern Ontario and she is one cool chick.
