There are trails … and then there are Apple Pie Trails. Isn’t everything better with pie? More than its name suggests, the Apple Pie Trail is in fact a multi-faceted “culinary trail” project launched by the Blue Mountain Village. Last fall it was awarded Best Culinary Experience at the Ontario Tourism Summit in Hamilton.

Patti Kendall, Blue Mountain Village’s Manager of Marketing & Events, said: “The Apple Pie Trail is the best way to explore and taste the area with over 30 stops featuring local apple art, history, vineyards and cideries, unique experiences and of course incredible apple delicacies at restaurants, cafes and bakeries.”

From June through October, you can experience the Trail in a series of week-day adventures that include hiking, spas, paddling, cycling, beaches, and loads of gourmet goodies.
